Review of Admission (2013) by Jason S — 22 Jan 2014
Meh. Whilst trying to be a smart little drama with comedic touches, the writing just doesn't quite live up to the intelligence it is going for. The actors don't seem to quite fit the tone of the film, with Fey seeming desperate to get the chance to really break free, and Rudd looks a little bored.
The rest of the cast is fairly bland. It's the sort of film that would have been better in the hands of Richard Kurtis (Love Actually, Notting Hill).
