Review of Admission (2013) by Chazz W — 07 Apr 2013
So as most anyone would point out, Admission is a predictable romantic comedy that tries to be too many things, all of which are somewhat cliche, and wraps them up too quickly and neatly in order to have made room for a few pranks.
OKAY, BUT, it is a sweet movie with some good acting that carries it through some script problems. Also, at the root of it all there is a good message about how we qualify (or misqualify) human potential.
Too bad it kind of gets lost in the confusion. Overall, I wasn't pissed about spending the money or the minutes seeing this movie. I kind of liked it, and there were a couple of interesting twists.
Lily Tomlin (sp?) rocks.
