Reportedly the most expensive Russian movie ever made, "The Admiral" is a tribute to a man who probably deserves to be better known by history. Kolchak led the White Russian resistance against the Red Bolshevik scum in the Russian civil war, but unfortunately he was on the losing side.
The movie is not bad. Some good moments, but it's slightly cold, and a war movie that in my view suffers from too much talk and not enough action.
