Addicted To Love is a film about 2 people, Sam(Broderick) and Maggie(Ryan). What do these 2 have in common? Easy, they're not over their previous lovers. Due to them still holding on, you watch both Sam and Maggie run amok and go to the extremes to make their ex lovers' lives completely miserable.....

Addicted To Love's story is a bit cute,creepy,fun,and aggravating all at once. The idea of constantly watching your ex lovers is a bit creepy and definitely a more fun way to watch a "RomCom". It's not everyday you get to watch a RomCom like that! But at the same time, the film can be easily predictable at points. The story definitely has you wondering how cops aren't involved with all of the "revenge" schemes that happen in this film. Yes, it can get distracting too but the film does manage to keep you laughing at all of the misery that transpires! Along with that, how a relationship's end led to a new relationship that isn't exactly normal, was fun to see.

The acting in this film was great. Karyo was hilarious. Broderick and Ryan all performed their parts in a great fashion but still, there was something weird about the two at times. Even though Broderick and Ryan did a great performance, there were parts where they just seemed mismatched? Maybe it's just me or maybe because it's a weird movie, who knows? Either way, Meg Ryan was charming yet a bit psycho. She showed she can act multiple parts. Whether it be the cute and charming or the demonic and chaotic role, Ryan aced the performance. Broderick truly had me laughing from how clueless and sincere he was.

Overall, the film definitely takes a darker and a lot weirder approach to the "romance comedy" formula. Even with it's plot holes and aggravating points, the film can still keep you watching thanks to the charming performances and just an overall fun premise for a "RomCom" film. This is a fun film and just makes the cut for a fresh rating. I mean cmon! Who knew stalking someone could be so romantic?

Wade-O-Meter: 60%--->60%.
