Review of Addams Family Values (1993) by Noelle G — 21 Nov 2009
The first Addams Family remake with Raul Julia and Angelica Houston was delightfully dark, twisted, funny and macabre. The second, simply re-tread of the original. How they made Joan Cusack voluptuous is beyond me.
Body suit? Steroids? Christina Ricci's voice started changing in this movie, too. Which actually made her more menacing than in the first movie. But seeing her have a love interest with a Jewish kid? Lame.
