Review of Addams Family Values (1993) by August C — 19 Sep 2011
A somewhat bland sequel, once again the main plot focuses around Uncle Festers money. That is derivative enough for me to bump it down a few notches. The original cast returns which is a delight, the scenes with Wednesday and Pugsley at camp are by far the best parts of the movie.
The problem with Adams family values is it never reaches its potential, the murdering serial killer wife is played out like a bad made for tv plot. its fun don't get me wrong but really lacks in areas.
