Review of Addams Family Values (1993) by Abel D — 03 Mar 2014
Sharing the same rock solid cast and ace director of the original, this sequel builds on it and then some. Darker, more inventive gags including a hysterical destruction of a Thanksgiving play by Pugsley and Wednesday, and a greater playing off of the Addams' twisted sensibilities against the everyday, mundane world are highlights.
Of course, Julia and Lloyd especially run with this material, and in so doing, lead to some of the wittiest and funniest moments in any comic strip adaptation ever.
