Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Teddy V — 26 Apr 2012
Almost as good as Being John Malkovich, though it's much more poorly written, far better acted (Chris Cooper is god.), and oddly far more satisfying on the whole. Nick Cage succeeds in his desire of staring in a film as himself twice, and being both more and less interesting than he really is.
In that way, this film is brilliant. A magnificently abysmal quagmire.
