Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Silvia O — 07 Jun 2010
Twisted, funny, smart, and original. Not many films can be like that but when you have writer Charlie Kaufman at the helm you expect nothing less. And it falls under the cult classic label, which I can see since it would definitely go over the mainstreams head.
Nicolas Cage does dual roles here, which was an amazing feat, and we finally get to see Meryl Streep in quite possibly her wildest role yet. Now like most of Kaufman's past works this is a film that truly shows the power of the "cult classic" and shouldn't be ignored.
