One of the most inventive and creative films of recent years, Adaptation. lacks any convention and ends very cleverly. Nicolas Cage stars as Charlie Kaufman and his fictional twin Donald in the performance of a lifetime.
To say Adaptation. is one of the best films of the year is an huge understatement, I would go as far to class it as one of the best of the decade along with several other Kaufman features including Synecdoche, New York.
This is a rare film that even after ending still leaves you wondering.
