Heartbreaking. Raw. Jaw-dropping. Jonze and Kaufman join together once again to create this astoundingly original gem of a film. An exceptionally personal look into the inner-workings of Kaufman's psyche, "Adaptation" is filled wall to wall with wonderful performances and seamless special effects.
In what may be Nicolas Cage's strongest performance(s), this film ironically states in its own script what makes a good movie, and then does it. Absolutely fantastic and intellectual.
