Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Liam C — 31 Mar 2013
Film perfection. Bubbly, intelligent, unique and a message to convey. The best bit about it is that it's self parody, self aware, gripping and smart! The idea is just so staggeringly unique and it's just the perfect setup for a film. The film does not fall flat.
The acting was good by Nicolas Cage; seeing as how he played two people. I did not like Streep or Coopers characters at all. I know what the film was saying and I know what the film was trying to represent them as, even so, I did not like them at all. Academy award nomination for Streep? Must have been a slow year.
It's indescribably good at what it is. Things said in the film are things told not what to do and then they do it, but unintentionally. This is such a good film. It really is.
