A loose sequel to "Being John Makovich", it's the sad story of the life of that film's tortured but brilliant screenwriter as he struggles to work on the next project that handed to him that's based on a book about rare flower poachers in Florida.
Meanwhile, his twin brother, despite his stupidity, writes his first script that Hollywood finds brilliant as it oozes with repulsive formula cliche. Nicolas Cage is brilliant playing off himself in his role of the twin brothers.
