Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Nate M — 14 May 2014
Another wildly brilliant and creative directorial effort by Spike Jonze, but even more surprisingly impressive is the screenwritng of Charlie Kaufman (returning here from Being John Malkovich and interestingly enough the screenwriter of another film I loved greatly in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), whose one part semi-autobiographical, another part creatively ingenious fictional work has to rank as his most witty, ambitious and in a way most personal work to date.
