Review of Adaptation. (2002) by Sharon B — 19 Jul 2014
A genre bending cerebral adventure with some of the most subtle yet profound metaphors on life and philosophy seen in contemporary film. Admittedly falling apart at the seams, yet rescuing itself at nearly every turn. This double helix of a mind trip may not be for everyone, but if you are hooked in the first act and can bypass Nicolas Cage's empty film roles, this is a must for filmies, writers, and admirers of modern day fairy tales.
