Review of Adam's Apples (2005) by Ada? M — 15 Dec 2008
Contained, brash and surprisingly black (considering its cover). Adam has to set himself a task when he reaches Ivan's church to atone for his past crimes - he remains hard-faced and gives himself the task of baking an apple pie.
This somehow plays out for one of the funniest films I've seen this year - it's suitably twee and enjoyable until the credits, quite a hard task for any comedy with my hardened tastes!
