Review of Adam Resurrected (2008) by Alysia V — 26 Apr 2010
This film was certainly odd. And, typically, I love odd! But this movie was missing something, for me. I will say that Jeff Goldblum was spot on and very impressive in his performance. He was the driving force of this film, most certainly, and did keep me pretty captivated.
But the story itself just didn't fully capture me.. and all the "human dog" bit just lost me. It felt as if every other scene involved a human being on their hands and knees barking like a dog.
I needed more from this movie than that. So, if you're a Goldblum fan, you probably won't be disappointed because his performance was far from disappointing - but beyond that, this film was lacking.
In my opinion, at least.
