Review of Adam and Eve (2005) by Kelly-Anne L — 20 Sep 2007
Directed by the veteran Jeff Kanew, Adam and Eve (its full title includes the National Lampoon's moniker) is a teen comedy starring Cameron Douglas (Michael's son) and gorgeous Emmanuelle Chriqui as two young people who instantly fall in love with one another.
Their relationship starts getting strained when she confesses him she's still a virgin and doesn't want to have sex with him until she's totally sure he's the one. Think about every teen comedy you've seen in your life.
Did it? Put everything in a shaker and start shaking. This is Adam and Eve. You never laugh, you can easily predict what it's going to happen in the next scene and you just stare at Chriqui's beauty, thinking about why she hasn't yet been able to make her big break in Hollywood.
Awful.
