Review of Ad Astra (2019) by Alenkacz — 14 Jun 2020
I must have watched a different Ad Astra than the ones giving this a positive review. The one I viewed was a confusing mess with a ridiculous plot and completely inaccurate science. A antenna repairman battles moon pirates and space monkeys. Hijacks the ship kills the crew and bonds with old dad at Neptune. Returns to earth then hooks up with his ex-wife in a diner.
This is accomplished in two hours of poor acting, rambling dialog and dreary space music.
Save your time and money, watch 2001 A space Oddessy instead.
