As a Beatles fan, I have mixed feelings about this movie. The songs are done in a hit-or-miss style (with a lot of misses, in my opinion), but there are exceptional stand-outs such as the title song, "Let It Be", "Strawberry Fields Forever" and a couple of others.
But most of the songs are done in a weird and odd style that doesn't seem to mix well with the subject matter. The story is okay and the performances are decent, but this could have been much better.
I hope there will be a better Beatles film in the future; until now you can make do with this.
