Review of Across the Universe (2007) by Sammy P — 30 Aug 2012

I looooove The Beatles!!!! The music is timeless and seeing it sung and redone in so many different and creative ways was amazing! I loved all the characters even though we only got to see them a few time in the movie and I would have wish they developed them more but I let the movie take me away and I didn't fight it and I had a great time! The singing was great but my favorite parts was the dream sequences when they would sing that was just awesome to see! But of course it's not perfect the pacing is off, characters leave with barley any explanation, some story lines never go anywhere and some beatles references just feel forced.

Maybe the only reason I like this movie because the great singing and it's a story told in Beatles music during the 60's!! That's just the only way to do it. I see the flaws in this movie but I dont care.
