I saw this film in Toronto, and I am baffled by the critics response. I think they must feel the need to be even more pretentious than they say this film is. I found Across The Universe moving, well sung and well acted.
I think they have missed the point entirely. Anyway...go see it for yourself, and don't fight it...go with it.
