Review of Across the Universe (2007) by Ale L — 20 Dec 2013
The Beatles are beloved by billions of fans across the world, and the history of the sixties is burned into the memory of millions, making an avant garde, semi-musical with a cast of unknowns about those things is bound to infuriate and disappoint some.
As well this film sometimes tries to do too much at once. But wow. What a wonderful, beautiful, delightful and enjoyable work of art. This is an amazing film for both Beatles and cinema fans alike.
