Review of Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) by Carlos M — 28 May 2011
During these early years of Carreyâ(TM)s career I despised him. It wasnâ(TM)t until Liar Liar and The Truman Show that I finally started to warm to his films. Since those days, Iâ(TM)ve since grown to have a much wider appreciation of his work, however that being said, I still dislike the first Ace Ventura.
Itâ(TM)s sequel for mine is actually far more enjoyable. Clearly written for the 13 to 14 year old young male, its juvenile at best but sometimes you donâ(TM)t want to have to think too hard, especially watching a comedy and for all the fart, snot, shit and boob gags here, they are harmless and silly.
Not his best effort, but certainly not a waste of your time either if you are in the mood.
