Review of Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls (1995) by Andrew E — 07 Jun 2010

Dare I say that this one is better than the first! Yes I can. Taking Ace out of his comfort zone and making him the main source of ridicule, rather than firing out the ridicule as he does in the first, was a total success. Suddenly he is the joke rather than the joker and as a result he comes across as less annoying! The scene with the rhino is perverse and funny in a way that I have not seen before in a PG rated movie also the scene with multiple blow dart attack scene is just comedy gold largely due to how Carrey plays it as his body becomes more and more lifeless as he runs.

I do really enjoy the first film but this one was better and it's sad that another one was not made and it's worse that Ace Ventura jr and a crap cartoon series was made instead.
