"VENTURA AND THE CASE OF THE MISSING DOLPHIN".

- 'Ace Ventura: Pet Detective' is a 1994 comedy film directed by Tom Shadyac (The Nutty Professor, Liar Liar), written by and starring Jim Carrey (The Truman Show, I Love You Phillip Morris). One of the films that meant the launch for Jim Carrey, who is a master in high energetic slapstick and facial expressions. A good comedy, with a mystery plot to it, as a pet detective tries to find a missing dolphin. Co-starring Courtney Cox (Friends, Scream Quadrilogy), Sean Young (Blade Runner,Dune) and Troy Evans (Under Siege, Black Dahlia). 'Have a missing pet? Call Ace Ventura!'.

Two weeks before the Super bowl Snowflake, the dolphin mascot of the Miami Dolphins, gets kidnapped. Roger Podacter (Evans) and Melissa Robinson (Cox) get the orders to find the missing animal. One of the secretary's advises them to call Ace Ventura (Carrey) who is a professional pet detective. The more-than-eccentric private investigator discovers a clue in Snowflake's empty tank: a rare amber stone that has fallen from a 1984 Championship ring. He immediately tracks down all members of the championship squad to check their rings.

When Podacter mysteriously dies after falling from his apartment's balcony, Ventura suspects it to be a murder, while Lieutenant Lois Einhorn (Young) insists it was a suicide. Being ridiculed by the police force, Ventura does his own investigation to track down the murderer and hopefully find Snowflake.
