Review of Ace Ventura Jr: Pet Detective (2009) by Matt T — 09 Mar 2009
Knowing, obviously, that it had great potential to be a pathetic spin off of two of the funniest movies known to man, I was enticed by Josh Flitter's lead role (whom I enjoyed as Robin Williams' sidekick in License to Wed).
A few sequences in and I realized I had already laughed out loud even without giving it my full attention. Throughout the film I enjoyed the clever humor as well as cringed at the horrible Jim Carrey impersonations, but all-in-all I recommended it to a few families with kids on the couch.
I'm excited to see more from Flitter in the future.
