Review of Accepted (2006) by John K — 08 Jun 2013
An incredibly poignant, thought-provoking film that has far more to say than immediately meets the eye. Beneath a punk veneer of lightweight comedy lies a powerful message about the state of modern education and the need to reignite the spirit of diversity and imagination that have become side-liners to arbitrary "good grades" throughout all forms of standard education.
In its own silly way Accepted asks a question that isn't asked enough: Why can't we all get what we want out of life?
