Why the mediocre ratings? It's quite true to the popular source work and the hilarious and talented cast are delightfully entertaining as they undertake this crazy script that takes you away on a nutty run through glamorous spots.
Total escape from the grittiness of life these days. Why watch a freaking heartbreaking story about people's kids dying when you can just make yourself miserable by watching the news? This type of movie is why I pay for entertainment! I want to escape.
If I want miserable, that's free. This is fine funny glam fantasy with over the top jewels, clothes, yachts ... and a ton of celebrities playing themselves.
