Whereas, for the most part, the TV series clung to the possibly credible, this vehicle once again like Spy and Ghostbusters 2 disappears up a comedy cul-de sac by introducing the impossible in search of extra laughs.

Such a pity because it starts off extremely brightly and the stars do rekindle all that was best about the show and then a hideously unfunny plot development in shoe horned in as Patsy has to marry as a man - harking back to the worst days of palsied 1970's sit-coms.

Of course there's a silly car chase as well...'oh won't that be funny?' NO! What is funny still is Patsy and Edina what isn't funny is pretty much all the rest...apart from the fact that they think they've killed Kate Moss.
