Edie and Patsy are back and while glossier and not quite as viciously acerbic as the tv versions, there is still a lot of fun to be had. Most of the cameos didn't work for me (no idea who the fashion people are apart from Kate Moss!) and the returning old characters also fell surprisingly flat apart from Kathy Burke.

Glee's Chris Colfer fits in rather well but it is Saunders, Lumley, Sawhala and Horrocks who bring it best. Fun cameos from Rebel Wilson, Dawn French and Barry Humphries and a few glimpses of the surreal dream/ fantasy sequences that made the tv show so original.

Nostalgic fun but probably time to hang up the Bolly bottles.
