Review of Absolute Power (1997) by Kathryn P — 16 Mar 2008

This was a great thriller, a different twist with Eastwood as a likeable theif. And though the formula was predictable the actual story and different twists were pretty great.

I especially love how after they mess with his daughter he really freaks out, let alone the fact that he was already pretty angry...very much in the style of Death Wish, which is probably why I like it so much. Overall, a pretty solid movie, very suspenseful and just an all around great flick, a good way to spend a couple hours...has Eastwood made better, of course...but this still shows that he can make some great movies.
