Review of Absolute Power (1997) by Peter P — 03 Oct 2010
Clint Eastwood being awesome never seems to get old, even though Clint does. Absolute Power is a good story that has some great acting from Eastwood and Harris and a amazing dynamic between Laura Linney and Eastwood as father and daughter that seems very convincing.
It is a little disturbing seeing Gene Hackman being such a bad guy, but I guess it was necessary for the story. So overall Eastwood does it again, doing a great job pulling double duty as both star and director and making it look easy while doing it.
