Review of Absolute Power (1997) by Martin D — 08 Dec 2011
It's far-fetched with an average script and plot-holes and continuity that drag the film down into depths it can't be picked up from. If I were Baldacci, I would be heavily disappointed, and perhaps that's why he's never had another of his novels made into a movie.
It just didn't size up the situations and circumstances and there just wasn't enough information to make it believable. When as a watcher, you have to try and convince yourself that "this thing" must have happened or "that thing" there are holes.
Sorry Mr. Eastwood, this one wasn't a success.
