Review of Absolute Beginners (1986) by Steve V — 15 Feb 2009
Absolute Beginners is a fun, if un-even film. It's visually stunning and well worth the watch if you have a big screen home theater. I saw it at the Hastings in Pasadena upon its release and was dazzled.
Patsy Kensit and David Bowie are divine. What's really neat about the flic is it's telling of the teenager as an identified consumer market that continues to this day.
