Alternate history can be fun and entertaining. Frankly, when I saw the previews for "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter" I was initially turned off but then I became intrigued. Who wouldn't want to see one of our nation's most beloved presidents weild and axe and slay a few bloodsuckers? Honestly, that's pretty much all this movie is.
It's somewhat predictable, heavy on the gore (what vampire flick ISN'T?), and the acting is so-so. But it was thoroughly entertaining.
