It might sound silly, but Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter's serious tone might be the only way to tell this story. It's a movie with something to say and I admire it's attempts to be a fun little movie.
The action scenes are a bit repetitive, but if you like the idea of Abraham Lincoln killing racists vampires with an axe then you might want to give this a go. Even if you instantly dismiss it, I urge you to give Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter a try.
