Review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) by Will G — 06 Jul 2013

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter was okay at best. It's biggest problem was that the movie was just plain stupid. I couldn't get into the premise which is what ruined the movie for me - particularly how Lincoln became such a great hunter (it involves telling the truth). Some may also be annoyed with the new rules regarding how vampires can die. I also think many will find that the alternate historical narrative may be quite disrespectful especially with regards to how members of Lincoln's family die.

The acting is pretty good and there are enough action scenes to make this somewhat enjoyable as a rental, but I don't recommend this movie.
