Review of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012) by Simon S — 30 Aug 2014

Better than expected, watched it with low expectation as the title itself made me prepared for the silly plot. It's actually an entertaining watch. The plot's actually cool and the movie is good in parts.

There are a lot of bungle ups like the tone being too serious, some of the special effects in fight sequences being silly. The makeup is a mess with the Vampires and the aged look of the cast in the latter part of the movie.

Benjamin Walker as Lincoln is too woody, the rest of the casting is decent. There should have been more screen time Rufus Sewell. Even after all these it's a fun watch.
