Review of Above the Rim (1994) by Rob C — 25 Feb 2011
I remember I saw this movie when it first came out while I was in High School. That's been over a decade ago so I couldn't remember what it was about, but it seemed like it was pretty good. I saw it on Netflix so I watched it and man I was right.
This is an excellent movie. Tupac puts on his expected bad guy stellar performance as he did in Juice. It was also good to see Bernie Mac in a serious role which he conquered with ease. The story is engaging from the beginning to the end.
To be honest I didn't want the movie to end. Good flick and highly recommended to watch.
