Review of Above the Law (1988) by Martin D — 05 Mar 2010
If asked, I couldn't tell you exactly WHY I enjoyed Above the Law but I did. The three topliners (Segal, Grier and Silva) alone make this a special movie, although it should have been a better one.
I suppose it has just enough Segal silliness (Tanktop machete fights, anyone?) and passable, if confusing, intrigue to make it work.
