Review of About Time (2013) by Paul B — 26 Aug 2014
Typical Richard Curtis fayre that is saved by a great cameo from Tom Hollander. The story of a man (who can travel back through time) and his relationship with the great Rachel McAdams. Bill Nighy is his usual bumbling self and the script is pretty dire in places with a few mistimed and misplaced explicit dialogue seemingly for the sake of it as it jars against the rest of dialogue.
It's not terrible but it's overly saccharine ending lets it down but worth watching Tom Hollander master every single scene he's in.
