I absolutely adore this movie! It's got the feel and artisanship of a independent film without the pretentiousness. I watched this movie on the edge of my seat waiting for something horrible to happen- the token heart-wrench you expect from a movie done this well and was happily surprised when it came along.
Don't get me wrong- this movie gets heavy, but the way that Richard Curtis handles it is beautiful. You walk out of the movie feeling rejuvenated and somehow more conscientious of the beauty around you.
