This is one of those coming-of-age stories that's narrated by the protagonist where, in every scene, he tells us what he's doing and how he's feeling. The plot and dialogue are super predictable and one-dimensional.

I didn't like this movie at all and I'm surprised Rachel McAdams signed on to it. Maybe if I were still in high school, I'd be super into this, but as an adult who prefers a story that isn't generic and cliche, I can't stomach it!
