Terrible. Convoluted... a mess of ideas. Romantic ideas that may be interesting to contemplate with a friend but to expect people to buy tickets to hear these ideas is more than indulgent and a bizarre viewing of an ego stroke.

There is not a director and writer here looking for empathy but to show people what good ideas about romance and life he has. So if you never heard the song Sunscreen by Baz you are out of this one. Even knowing that song the line in the movie referencing this song is so silly which is an analogy for the entire film.

.. silly. Good actors in bad roles. We got who we could get regardless of chemistry going on here. You can almost hear the producers saying "We got Rachel McAdams!" Regardless if she had a bit of chemistry with the male lead.
