I understand where the movie was trying to go in terms of understanding and appreciating the small subtleties of life and enjoying everything - the good and the bad - that life has to offer. But it wasn't done very well.

I thought this was supposed to be a rom-com but there was a little too much overly sweetness and not enough funny. The saving grave was Rachel Mcadams - she is so sweet and genuine in her role, I enjoyed watching the movie cuz of her.
