A romantic time travel movie can actually work if you have a solid cast like this. It has some nice moments at the start, but then gets tedious in the middle. The time travel aspect is also forgotten at this point as it branches in a few directions that don't seem important.
It all mostly comes back together in the end, but not without some frustration (he'd tell his sister but not the love of his life about time travel??).
