Review of About Schmidt (2002) by Bryan W — 13 Mar 2008

I've heard some negative reviews about this movie but I'm not sure why exactly. I thought it was a great movie because it demonstrates how a persons life can become completly integrated with the person they are married to, even to the point of losing one's personal identity.

I love the way Schmidt expresses his new found freedom from his wife. I thought it was sad that he tried to please his wife in every detail of his life only to find out that she had an affair.
