Review of About Schmidt (2002) by Banu A — 07 May 2008
This is a slow going but strong movie about an old man's confrontation with his delusional life after his retirement. It makes you think about your priorities in life. By making his career the center of his life, he becomes estranged from his wife and daughter and after his wife dies things get even worse.
Jack Nicholson was amazing. He does an admirable job in giving life to such a plain character.
