There is so much more to this movie than the hot tub scene. The one complaint I've always had about movies as a medium is that you don't get inside the characters' minds. Not the case in About Schmidt.
In About Schmidt the whole movie funtions as the main character and Jack only physically represents it (and what a fine job he does at it). This movie is amazing, see it!
